Putin gets what he wants from republicans

Trick or Treat, Let’s Blitz Moscow Mitch McConnel

Trick or Treat, Let’s Blitz Moscow Mitch McConnell #BlitzMitch

It’s going to be a real treat when Mitch (Putin’s Bitch) McConnell is exposed for all their dirty tricks to bring down democracy. Look in Mitch’s graveyard of Bills passed in the House, 3 for election security, that he has committed to a shallow grave. Bring these issues back up from the dead like zombies.

This morning, at your urging, members of the House voted in support of the next phase of the impeachment investigation. This critical step ensures the American public will now be able to hear about the President’s impeachable offenses firsthand.

Now, we must keep up our efforts and turn our attention to the Senate, and especially Mitch McConnell.

Because he stands by and watches as Donald Trump risks our national security and our elections for his own personal gain. That’s why we’re sending Moscow Mitch a message by reserving TV ads in his hometown next month. We need to place our buy soon, but we’re still $7,000 away from our goal of raising $42,000 before midnight tonight. Can you chip in before you head out to trick-or-treat?

As a thank you, you can choose a gift of your choice, including a hat, pin, socks and more. Together, with your support, we will #BlitzMitch. Then send a powerfully important message: nobody is above the law.

Our Thanksgiving weekend #BlitzMitch TV ad buy is growing by the minute. Need to Impeach supporters are contributing whatever they can to help send Mitch McConnell a message that he won’t be able to ignore. Can we count you in?

  #BlitzMitch

The most egregious part of the Trump-Ukraine scandal isn’t the use of military aid to pressure a foreign government to provide dirt on a political opponent. Then it’s not the lies or the ensuing cover-up. Instead, it’s the fact that Mitch McConnell is letting Trump get away with it.

Thank you! Need To Impeach

The House of Representatives took its first vote on the ongoing impeachment inquiry. The vote will establish procedures for the next public phase of the investigation. In a letter sent to Democrats on Monday, Speaker Pelosi said this step will “eliminate any doubt as to whether the Trump Administration may withhold documents, prevent witness testimony, disregard duly authorized subpoenas, or continue obstructing the House of Representatives.” The new procedure will allow House lawyers from both parties to question witnesses in public.

Indivisibles,

Despite House Republican’s temper tantrums and insistence on violating constitutionally-protected impeachment processes (and you know, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities), we’re here to show you that the roadmap to impeachment for the grassroots is still quite clear and simple:

atl: Indivisibles 5-stop roadmap to impeachmentatl: continue calls. dial 855-980-2355.atl: stop 2 - subscribe to our impeachment daily youtube showalt: stop 3 - pick a hubdialer shift to call friendly voters in key statesatl: stop 4 - recess is november 3 thru 11. find republicans and birddog them using our tactics.atl: stop 5 - host a "no one is above the law" event at impeachnow.org

Thus, no matter what news happens, no matter what bananas Republican stunt they try next, we just need to keep the pressure on:

Stop 1: Call both of your senators and demand that they support a transparent and fair impeachment trial at 855-980-2355. We’ve got a script you can use here.

Stop 2: Subscribe to our all-new web series Impeachment Daily on YouTubeTwitter, or Instagram, starring our Director of Democracy Policy, Meagan Hatcher-Mays, dishing out daily updates on Trump’s crimes and what you can do to pressure your member of Congress to hold him accountable.

Stop 3: Pick a shift to make some calls connecting voters to Senators to demand a complete and fair impeachment trial. We’ve identified 13 Senators who our political and policy experts believe we can sway — and now we’re asking you to call progressive voters in their states and ask those voters to use their power and turn up the pressure on their elected officials.

Stop 4: The House is going on recess from Nov 3 – 11. It’s time to meet them in your home turf. Find a town hall or district-office event and get ready to ask Republicans #OneSimpleQuestion (try using some of our birddogging tactics to boost your impact).

Stop 5: As we quickly approach a historic impeachment vote in the House, we have an opportunity to make this vote a turning point. Click here to host or find a “No One is Above the Law” event the evening before the House vote, calling on your representative and senators to put an end to this bigoted, hateful presidency.

Indivisibles know better than anyone else that the key to winning fights on Capitol Hill is taking control of the narrative. That’s how you gain the leverage for applying unrelenting constituent pressure.

Let’s do it. In solidarity,
Indivisible Team

URGENT: The House will vote this morning on impeachment procedures

The impeachment procedures are a key component of an impeachment investigative inquiry and how to indict the errant Cheat Executive.

This is our chance to get every single representative on the record and on the right side of this fight. No one is allowed to stay on the fence.

This last week of October alone, we learned:

  • White House official Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman became the 5th person to publicly confirm the illegal quid pro quo scheme that Trump proposed to Ukraine;
  • the White House attempted a cover-up of that scheme by doctoring the transcript of the call between Trump and Ukraine;
  • That Republicans, who cannot reasonably defend Trump’s behavior on the merits, will instead create conspiracy theories out of thin air.

This vote is about the public phase of this impeachment investigation, and will allow the American people to see the full array of evidence into Trump’s corruption. There is no reason to oppose this resolution.

Call for impeachment get rid of Moscow Mitch McConnel too

Here’s what you can do right now:

Call and tell Rep. Fred Upton you’re paying attention! Demand he uphold his oath and vote yes on tomorrow’s resolution to ensure the next phase of the impeachment inquiry is transparent to the public. Dial 701-484-0521 to be connected to their office.

This vote will be the next turning point in holding Trump and members of his administration accountable for their unrelenting abuses of power. Let’s make sure that our calls for impeachment are echoing through the halls of Congress as a signal to every representative that no one is above the law. This will also put Moscow Mitch McConnell on notice that we are never backing down!

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team

P.S. — We’ve been calling for impeachment for a long time now, and the impeachment movement we built was the crucial kindling that was ready when the Ukraine spark hit. But the resources Indivisibles have used to build that movement — the calling tools that connect people to their representatives, the up-to-the-minute policy research, the emails and texts with breaking news — all come with costs.

We’re committed to getting our funding from people like you so we’re not under anyone else’s thumb — can you pitch in $10 right now to keep up the pressure on impeachment and support all our plans?
