Nov, 2019: Bernie Sanders Campaigns in Iowa Before Candidates Debate in Iowa
Here’s the news going into November with Bernie throwing huge rallies on the way to the Iowa Democratic Candidates Debate 2019. We have the momentum. We have the volunteers. We have the enthusiasm. And we have the best candidate with the best ideas. If we can continue our dominance with small-dollar donations, we are going to win.
Upcoming Iowa Debates Created A Bump Up in Donations
if you would be an important part of a big weekend for our campaign in Iowa. Here’s how:
As you may have heard, Bernie is going to be there this weekend with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. They’re holding a pair of rallies and a Climate Change Summit. Thousands of people have already RSVPed.
But putting on these rallies costs money. To put a number on it, these three cost about $75,000.
So we’re hoping you can help us raise that TONIGHT. Before midnight. Because there’s nothing better than thousands of people chipping in from everywhere to make this weekend in Iowa a great success.
IOWA EVENTS FUNDRAISING DRIVE
This is a very exciting time for our campaign. We are on the air. We are holding huge rallies. We are surging in the polls. This weekend is going to be a BIG piece of the puzzle for us. So please chip in, and as you watch the news coverage of the events, know you helped make them possible.
Contribute $2.70 to help us fund this weekend’s rallies in Iowa:
Thank you for chipping in.
Bernie Sanders Asks for 15000
The situation: We have the lead in a few early states, are moving in the national polls, destroy Trump in a general election matchup and have held some of the largest rallies in the Democratic primary.
Our job: We have to step on the gas. Because if we do, we’ll win. And if we win, that means we’ll lead the fight for health care as a right, better wages, and a climate plan that will save our planet.
The numbers: Right now, we are down about 13% in fundraising this month. That translates to about 15,000 fewer donations than we had at this point in October — when we really started to move.
The ask: Help us close the gap. Today. Because if we can make this a great month, we’ll be in GREAT shape:
Our thanks: What we are proving on this campaign is that one does not need to beg rich people for money or have a super PAC to win. Bernie is very proud of that fact, and you should be too. It means a lot. Thank you.
All my best,
We have the momentum. We have the volunteers. We have the enthusiasm. And we have the best candidate with the best ideas. If we can continue our dominance with small-dollar donations, we are going to win!
We are going to win,
- A CNN poll shows us WINNING in New Hampshire
- Another CNN poll shows us tied for FIRST in Nevada
- A NYT poll shows us in a very close SECOND in Iowa
Nationally, a recent NBC poll showed us +5 since their last poll, the largest gains of ANY candidate.
We have the momentum. We have the volunteers. We have the enthusiasm. And we have the best candidate with the best ideas.
If we can continue our dominance with small-dollar donations, we are going to win.
But Bernie needs YOU for that.
You know how coverage of this race goes. When the polls are up for Bernie, we hear about how other candidates are “in fourth, but a strong fourth.” But that is ok, because we are surging. And if we can pair these gains with a strong fundraising response, this race is OURS to win.
Historically, November is a VERY difficult month for fundraising. Very. In our last campaign, we raised 25% less in November than we did in October, despite having significant momentum in the month.
It set us back. It ended up being a problem. Well, we have momentum again this time around. We’re on television, we’re at or near the lead in a number of polls, and we have a great chance to win.
But we can’t let November be another setback. We just can’t.
So our job is to start the month with as many individual contributions as we possibly can. We really need a strong start to November. Because if we fall behind, there could be trouble ahead.
Bernie would like to hear directly from you about the issues you care most about in this campaign.

Bernie would like to hear directly from you about the issues you care most about in this campaign. Back when Bernie ran for president in 2016, the corporate media liked to tell us that our ideas were too pie-in-the-sky. They tried to say that Medicare for All, College for All, and a Green New Deal were too radical that there was no way those policies would ever be supported by the American people.
Well, America, they were wrong. Now those same issues are at the center of the debate in this primary and are supported by many other candidates for President. That’s not just because of Bernie. That’s because of us. Our movement has transformed American politics. You’re an important part of that movement, which is why we’d like to hear from you today.
Please take two minutes to complete our latest survey to say which issues you care most about in our campaign for president.
This campaign is not just about beating Trump or changing the debate on the critical issues impacting millions of Americans.
The campaign is about transforming our country once we are in the White House. And the way we will do that is by building a grassroots movement the likes of which has never been seen before in America.
In order to build the most powerful movement possible, we need to know what issues motivate you in this race. Because at the end of the day, it is the issues that will help determine the success of our campaign.
Your feedback is important. Thanks for taking a moment to share it with us today.
