Do You Support One Or Both Of These Front Runners?
Here’s a battle of the campaign donor pitch of Bernie Sanders vs Elizabeth Warren. Which one will you support? Or will you support both of these front-running Democratic Presidential candidates?
Elizabeth Warren’s Presidential Campaign
Yesterday, Elizabeth introduced her plan to fight corruption in Washington head on — ending lobbying as we know it, requiring all federal candidates and officeholders to release their tax returns, padlocking the revolving door between government and industry, and much, much more.
It’s the most sweeping set of anti-corruption reforms since Watergate. Now, Elizabeth is up against a critical end-of-quarter deadline — and we need your help to reach our goal, win in 2020, and make these big, structural changes come 2021.
Our government currently works great for the wealthy and well-connected — the corporate executives and billionaires who rub elbows with their friends in government behind closed doors. 2020 is our moment to finally say: Enough is enough.
We can make big, structural changes that will restore our trust in government by showing that it can work for all of us.
When Elizabeth is president, that’s exactly what she’ll do. But it’s going to take a truly grassroots movement to take power away from the wealthy and the well-connected in Washington. That’s why we’re asking you to pitch in for the first time today.
The situation: With just under two weeks to go before our next official FEC fundraising deadline, our campaign is behind where we need to be in terms of number of donations and total raised. Not great.
Our job: The only way we close the gap on our opponents is by generating even more individual donations than we did last quarter.
The numbers: By our count, if we could get 3,578 people to make their first online contribution today, we’d have a chance to get there.
Our thanks: The way we fund this campaign is unprecedented in American history. That means a lot to Bernie, and we hope it does to you as well. We are making history. But we can’t stop now. We can’t come up short. Not with so much on the line.
